"That was you?" Philadelphia-born actor, Scott Gunner, is used to this question. Through his performances, Scott has built a reputation for being able to disappear into roles vastly different from each other. Most recently, he has just been accepted into Jack Wetherall's prestigous Shakespare Lab. Immediately prior to that, he finished playing Miles Gloriosus in "A Funny thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" at the Lancaster Opera House. Additionally, Scott has been seen as a number of diverse characters in other plays and musicals at the Cherry Lane Theater, Bagaduce Theatre, Woodstock Playhouse, Theater for the New City, Temple Theaters, and Philadelphia Young Playwrights.
Scott received his B.A. in Theater with a concentration in acting from Temple University. There he studied under and performed with accomplished directors and actors such as Doug Wager, Edward Sobel, Peter Reynolds, Donna Snow and many more. He has also spent years training in musical theater at Settlement Music School under the Philadelphia Opera Company’s Katherine Mallon-Day.
Scott currently resides in Brooklyn with his beautiful girlfriend, his energetic puppy, and his sleepy cat. He is excited to continue making art and building relationships with other artists and audiences across the country.
