"That was you?" Philadelphia-born, Scott Gunner is used to this question. As an actor, Scott has built a reputation for being able to disappear into roles vastly different from each other. He recently returned from Woodstock Playhouse where he performed as Jud in Oklahoma!, the Childcatcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, multiple roles in Spring Awakening, and Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd. Additionally, Scott has been seen as a number of diverse characters in other plays and musicals at Theater for the New City, Temple Theaters, and Philadelphia Young Playwrights.

Scott received his B.A. in Theater with a concentration in acting from Temple University. There he studied under and performed with accomplished directors and actors such as Doug Wager, Edward Sobel, Peter Reynolds, Donna Snow and many more. He has also spent years training in musical theater at Settlement Music School under the Philadelphia Opera Company’s Katherine Mallon-Day.

This Winter Scott will be performing Off-Broadway in the new children's musical, "The Dooples," at the Cherry Lane theater. He currently resides is in Brooklyn and is excited to continue making art and building relationships with other artists and audiences across the country.
